I had my sprinkler system installed around 7 years ago by Penny Green.Not a problem. I just purchased a Thatching, Aeration and reseed. This was done while I was at work. It was a great job. I went to water my new grass seed and was not happy with my sprinkler heads. Penny Green sent a Tec out the next day and replaced and adjusted alldiscrepant heads under my warranty.

Our yard looks great! The guys you sent yesterday were so nice and friendly and respectful. They did not stop working once. You have a good group guys that work for you. The sprinklers are working again thanks to Darryl. I felt soo bad because the ground was hard as a rock and they had to dig all those holes for the plants. The side of the house looks so much cleaner and more defined than it did. The garden in the front of the house looks so much better without all those greens hanging down. Our kids live about 2 hours from us and were concerned about us handling snow removal. We were unable to find a service but our daughter in law found Penny Green. She set up the entire service for snow removal. We all know what a terrible winter 2010-11 has been. First I wanted to tell you what a WONDERFUL job your guys did!!! My front yard is more than I ever expected. Constantly cars are stopping and complimenting the work!! Thank you so much. There are just two items planted that seem to be having a difficult time. Hopefully they will adjust soon. I've been watering the sod constantly and it seems that in some spots it's having a hard time rooting. I did want to ask you what if any maintained your company does? As far as regular mowing (I now have someone mowing and edging on a bi-weekly basis for 22.00 but I don't trust that he would care for the landscaping as well as your company because it was done by you.) and maintaining the scheduling of fertilizers etc...and the cost. Please let me know. I did receive your invoice and I will be sending a check next Friday, I get paid bi-weekly. I will send 9 or 10 thousand and will take your offer of extending the balance through five months. (I do plan on doing it sooner that!!) Again Matt please extend my thanks to Darryl and the crew!! They were awesome!!

Years ago we purchased a new home and decided to stop the madness of rotating the hose and sprinklers. I phoned three businesses of which Pennygreen was one. Pennygreen was the ONLY one who came out to give us an estimate. I then decided to phone some more people to find out if the estimate that was given was in the ball park. No one came out. Over 40 irrigation businesses were called and a whopping 3 people came out. I was very impressed with how quick the job was completed. Our lawn has never looked better. As an owner of a business, I know what it takes to run a business. I think Matt is doing a great job as an owner AND an operator. Three years ago my front yard, which was sod, had to be torn up due to grubs. After seeding and watering regularly with those "battery operated" store bought timers, I still could not get the lawn to grow uniformly; there were several bald spots. No matter how hard I tried to keep the hoses and sprinklers positioned the same, it just did not help. Not to mention watering my street half the time, instead of my lawn, was frustrating and costly. Then my wife and I saw the PennyGreen commercial and decided to call. We lined up 2 other companies to speak with for comparison. Matt from PennyGreen was the first to come and show us his irrigation system. After he sat with me and explained to me what he could do, I was impressed. The amount of sprinkler heads and zones he proposed we needed was more than I would have guessed. I was not ready to sign yet, though. I was figuring this would cost a small fortune. Then Matt discussed the cost. I honestly thought that he made a mistake. It was just about ½ of what my wife and I budgeted for. The other 2 companies never had to show, because we hired PennyGreen on the spot. After the first year using our new irrigation system the bald spots are gone, my water bill is actually less than the previous year, and my street is bone dry.

We recently moved into a new home which had some drainage issues in parts of the yard and needed some general sprucing up. The project included running unsightly downspout and sump pump discharge underground, as well as finding the best solution for addressing the very wet conditions due to runoff from a hill behind our house.

We spoke to a few landscapers, none of whom came out to assess the situation and provide estimates. We heard about Penny Green through word of mouth and saw their ad on TV. We picked up the phone and Matt was out the next day, and faxed estimates and specifications that night! They provided a work date, cited two days work, and did the whole project on that exact date and in the time allotted.

It was great to get home from work at night and see EVERYTHING done and the lawn completely transformed! They also added features not in the proposal as extra touches, such as extra accent walls and shrubbery. The combination river rock, accent walls, plantings and bed extensions, done in such a short time, was well beyond our expectations.

I would absolutely recommend PennyGreen to anyone, and look forward to future projects with them in the spring.
